BT Omega Paintball Gun

BT Paintball launched its new release last week: The BT Omega Paintball Gun. The Omega is an M16-style semi-automatic paintball marker that offers a nice platform compatible with many of BT Paintball's current upgrades.

The BT Omega features a metal receiver that will stand up to the most extreme wear and tear. A removeable plastic magazine offers storage for tools, maps or small spare parts. Add a rail to the carry handle and mount a red dot or magnified scope. The standard M16 foregrip allows for plenty of options as well. Undermount a M16 handguard rail for tactical accessories such as a bipod, front grip or flashlight. BT's also includes a collapsible car stock that will adjust to different playing situations. NEW TechT Paintball iFIT Barrel Boring Kit

A new release from TechT Paintball is always exciting news. TechT's latest release offers something for just about every paintball gun owner out there. The new TechT iFIT Barrel Boring Kit allows you to convert any barrel, whether stock or aftermarket, into a complete paintball matching barrel kit. The system is quite simple but extremely effective, allowing you to match your barrel to any paint you may purchase for your own rec use or use at a commercial field.

Each kit includes a barrel adapter. This adapter has both an internal thread as well as a standard external rear thread, both coinciding with the thread pattern used by your marker. Just choose the correct iFIT insert that best matches the caliber of the paintballs you'll be shooting. Place the insert inside the barrel adapter and screw your barrel into the iFIT Paintball Barrel System. Goblin Solo Micro-Launcher Pistol

The Goblin Solo Micro-Launcher brings a new element to the game of scenario and woodsball paintball.  This palm-sized paintball pistol packs a punch.  Best used as a close range single shot pistol or back-up when all else fails, your opponents won't know what hit them.



The Goblin Micro-Launcher uses a .68 caliber barrel that houses an air cartridge at the rear.  The included air adapter attaches to the end of your CO2 tank.  The adapter is inserted into the end of the air cartridge charging it for your next shot.  Place a .68 cal paintball into the barrel and insert the entire assembly into the Solo's frame.  You are now ready to fire.  The 1-2 second CO2 charge will produce about a 280 fps shot.  Vary the air charge time and you'll be able to adjust the velocity of the Goblin Solo.  The manufacturer recommends that you use CO2 for best results.  And don't worry, you can't overcharge the cartridge.  CO2 will begin to exit back out when the cartridge is full and ready to be shot.  Goblin offers a number of accessories for the Solo Micro-Launcher including a holster, spare air cartridges/barrels as well as barrels that will convert the Solo for airsoft use.

Remote Power Switch for Red Dot Scopes

We recently received a very innovative product that has solved a major headache for most red dot and illuminated scope users. The A1 Optic Remote Optic Power Switch is an easy way to turn your red dot on and off without changing your position or grip on your marker.

This red dot pressure sensitive switch works similar to those made for lasers and tactical flashlights. The product replaces the battery cap on most scopes. The A1 Optic Cap is connected to a pressure sensitive pad that will turn the red dot or illuminated scope 'on' to the predetermined setting. Just adjust the intensity setting on your scope and that's it. Your scope can remain in the 'on' position without the threat of a dead battery. The pad now acts as your on-off, activating your red dot only when you need it. This allows the operator to maintain complete attention to his surroundings, as well as full control of his weapon at all times. It also helps to extend battery life by activated the scope only when needed.


The A1 Option Pressure Sensitive Switch comes in two sizes: small and large. Determining the size you need is very easy with a simple 'quarter test'. Simply remove the battery cap from your scope and lay a quarter on it. If the quarter falls into the cap, your scope requires the small kit. If the quarter does not fall into the cap but lays over the outer edges, your scope requires a large kit. We have found that most of the applicable scopes use the smaller optic switch kit.

NEW US Army Carver One

Tippmann has redesigned the entry level marker for their US ARMY Paintball line. The standard Alpha Black (non-tactical model) will be replaced with a new addition called the US ARMY Carver One. The new marker is geared towards entry level players or those looking for an economic platform to built a custom woodsball marker from.

The US ARMY Carver One is built on the 98 platform so all the internals are virtually the same. Tippmann constructed the receiver from die cast aluminum with its standard matte black finish. Picatinny rail space is plentiful with mounting surfaces on the top receiver and the sides and bottom of the foregrip. Mount any tactical accessory that fits a weaver or picatinny rail (military standard rail measuring about 7/8" in width). The 8.5" barrel is 98 threaded so aftermarket replacements will not be an issue. It also always for rear butt stocks as well. To finish it off, Tippmann included some sling mounts for those 1, 2 and 3 point sling users.

The estimated arrival date of the Carver One is around the 1-2 week of March. We will likely begin pre-orders once we know a solid arrival date. The US ARMY Carver One paintball gun will be available in 3 models: Semi-Auto, Egrip Installed and Power Pack.

Valken VTac Paintball Harnesses

Valken Paintball's new VTAC product line has a little something for everyone. From remote line covers, lightweight paintball vests, pouches to 1 pt slings, Valken has you covered. This week we received our first shipment of Valken 4+1 and 6+1 paintball harnesses.

We are really impressed with the whole Valken lineup for a few reasons. Valken's soft gear is made from qualilty material with heavy-duty stitching for durability. Camo patterns are plentiful as well. Valken makes nearly all their VTAC gear in four camo patterns which is great for adding to and matching your existing gear. Choose from Tiger Stripe, ACU Digital Camo, Marpat and Woodland patterns. The camo range is so wide it's unlikely you'll find yourself in a playing environment that the Valken V-Tac gear will not adequately hide your profile.


Valken's paintball harness offer a lot of options. We did some product testing to find out the answers to common questions. The pod pockets will work with either 100 or 140rd tubes. The center pouch is pretty big. We were able to easily add 20 oz, 24 oz CO2 tanks as well as a 68/4500 and a stubby 70/4500 nitrogren tank with no problem. So if you're running CO2 or a Compressed Air tank up to about 70 or 72 ci, you shouldn't have any compatibility issues.

The Valken VTAC harnesses feature an integrated velco belt. This belt could be used for waist sizes up to about 40" or so. Valken also offer an add-on 'belt extender' which can be used on both the Valken paintball vests and the harnesses to offer more room for larger waist sizes. The velco belt secures nice and tight. Velco is the preferred belt style for many players who complain about clip style belts releasing when they are crouched down during play. Also, VTAC includes a separate small pouch on the right backside for carrying anything small like tools or spare parts.
